About GACIP

The Annual Graduate Attribute & Continuous Improvement Process (GACIP) Summits have been held at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering (FASE) in December each year since 2014. The goals of the summit are to:

  • Share experiences to date related to GACIP implementation and CEAB accreditation
  • Advance the collective understanding of implementing a successful evidence-based curriculum improvement process in Canadian engineering schools
  • Give attendees an opportunity to network and make connections with others working with Graduate Attributes
4th - 2017 Dec 7 - A total of 100 registrants participated in the Summit (74 in person and 26 online), from 29 institutions across Canada.
3rd - 2016 Dec 8 - A total of 72 registrants participated in the summit (59 in person and 13 online), from 23 institutions across Canada

2nd - 2015 Dec 10 - A total of 71 registrants participated in the Summit (61 in person and 10 online), from 21 institutions across Canada.
1st - 2014 Dec 5 - A total of 40 registrants participated in the Summit in person, from 11 institutions primarily from Ontario and Quebec

In addition, representatives from the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB), Engineers Canada and Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO)(2017 only) attended.
